Terms of Service

Last updated 31 August 2026

These terms govern your use of pokerhero.gg and app.pokerhero.gg. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. This is a working draft pending legal review.

1. The service

PokerHero is a poker study tool: chart packs, a trainer that grades decisions against solver output, and progress analytics. It is for study only and is not gambling, real-money play, or financial advice.

2. Accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. Keep access to your sign-in email secure; you're responsible for activity under your account. One account per person unless we agree otherwise.

3. Purchases and refunds

Chart packs and any subscriptions are bought inside app.pokerhero.gg through PayPal. Prices are set by pack creators and shown before purchase.

⚠️ Draft refund terms: contact support within 14 days if a pack materially differs from its description; we may revoke access and refund via PayPal. Heavily used packs may be assessed individually.

4. Acceptable use

Don't share, resell or redistribute pack content, scrape the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or use it to harass others or break the law.

5. Intellectual property

Pack content belongs to its creators and is licensed to you for personal study within PokerHero. The site, app and trainer are ours. You keep ownership of ranges you build yourself.

6. Coaching hubs

If you run a hub, you're responsible for what you assign and for your relationship with your students. Students' progress data is visible to their coach. We are not a party to your coaching agreements.

7. Availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service is uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for poker results. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can close your account any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. Provisions that should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability) do.

10. Governing law and changes

⚠️ Draft — jurisdiction to be set by counsel. We'll post changes here with a new "last updated" date; continued use after a change means you accept it.
